Congratulations to Diane on her successful endurance ride season!

Our last ride was in Arlington, Washington. 15 miles of mud and gravel roads. No negatives to report. I’m in the habit of using small 4-inch zip ties on the straps when I use the boots, seeing as winter in the NW means lots of mud to go through. The boots stay on even when I’m sure they won’t.

I’m at over 600 miles on mostly gravel with my boots, planning on new ones soon.

2 years barefoot and not ever going back to shoes!

Been using Renegades since March ’08.

I like how easy Renegades are to put on and off. I love that they move with my horse, not against! They have NEVER caused any rubs! Yay!

When I use the glue on boots and want to leave them on — which I have for 5 weeks and they were still hard to remove — I spray bleach and water in the back of the boot to keep any nastiness away.  It has worked perfectly for me. My mare’s feet have come out looking perfect every time.

I only competed in 150 miles this year, did tons of conditioning though.
3 rides, 3 completions.
First ride of the year, I started last with a friend on a green horse.  Finished back of the pack as planned.
Second ride, started last, finished 15th.  Canadian mountain ride.
Third and last ride, Lakeview Ranch, WA. 1st Place, as well as AHA Region 5 champion, took BC for both.  All A’s and one A+ on final exam, used glue-ons, no problems.
Looks like for the NW, I will end up in 16th place over-all for points, not too bad for only 3 rides…
Thank you for a great product that truly helps horse!
