Stephanie Palmer-DuRoss and Hadji Halef Omar are certainly feeling the trail love after this past weekend’s Eastern Mojave Scenic XP ride. The race marked 17 consecutive years of trail partnership, with the two completing at least one 50-mile ride each year. They completed all four days of Eastern Mojave for a total of 200 miles, including finishing in a tie for first place on the final day.
Hadji is an incredible 24 years old and still going strong, with over 9500 miles, numerous Top Ten finishes, 4 100-mile finishes including the Tevis and Big Horn rides. He has been using Renegade® Hoof Boots for at least seven years now, with almost 5000 competition miles logged in Renegades. Hadji is also one of the horses who has successfully completed the Tevis in strap-style Renegades.
