So we finally got our last race rescheduled and had the chance to really try out the Ice Boots. They have been great in training rides, but I can never get the same speed and intensity as when there is a skier chasing us, lol. So we disqualified (skier error) and didn’t place, BUT Manny was the fastest he has ever been all season, AND the boots stayed on. Footing was hardpack, but lots of soft spots to break through as the day went on and plenty of ice patches in the holding area. We had no footing issues at all. The boots didn’t rub or cause any irritation and did not accumulate snow or debris. He wore them from 9am to 4pm or so. I could not be more thrilled with them…worth ever penny! You couldn’t pry them away from us. I’ll be saving for another pair for next year for my TB.
